About Us
Ernest Onyia is the leader of this entity. He has more than 35 years experience in several areas in pore pressure prediction and monitoring, well-bore stability, drilling mechanics and coiled tubing. He spent 16 years at Amoco Research Drilling Mechanics Group and 19 years at ConocoPhillips before retiring in 2016. He is a world renowned Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Pore pressure and well-bore stability. He has several SPE publications and patents. His work over the years are highly cited in the literature and books. Ernie has a best-in-class pore pressure and wellbore stability training school program. He has taught several industry and in-house training schools. His works were instrumental in the technologies that resulted in the following industry tools - GPES, PreVu/Equipoise Software for Pore Pressure prediction/monitoring, LIStools, DROPS and some in-house software tools in COP and Amoco.
